APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS
Jade Enhanced Supported Services (JESS) incorporates the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) into its service to improve the lives of all individuals, regardless of disability or skill set. Our team of experts in behavior analysis will start by evaluating and identifying areas in which the individual can improve. The team will develop a formal plan that will include individualized goals as well as a plan to address problem behaviors that may be interfering with learning and development. The ultimate goal is to teach the person appropriate ways of interacting with their environment.

Initial Assessment
The initial assessment is a fundamental piece of our services, as this will outline the treatment for each client. Our plans are individualized according to the need. JESS values the uniqueness of each individual and ensures that programming addresses the main concerns for the client, while giving them the right to choose what they want to learn and how they want to be taught. The strategies used, are selected carefully keeping in mind that every client is different and understanding that their desires are important when making decisions.
Behavior Intervention
JESS understand that each individual has different preferences and that motivation varies depending on what each person has been exposed to. A formal behavior plan will be developed in order to increase behaviors that will enable the individual to come in contact with more reinforcing activities, and more positive interactions, through the use of positive reinforcement.
